The aim of Shilpi’s World, is to bring out creativity in students!
Give students foundation to express their thoughts through drawing or painting.
From basic shapes to color theory, each assignment is carefully planned to train the eye to observe details, understanding of shape and form with the use of different mediums. Students are taught with pencil shading to pay attention to light and shadow, the hide and seek game of light on geometric objects, to colorful world of everyday items in our life, to capture the beauty of nature with oil pastels and flowing, vibrant water colors and of course the most intriguing medium is oil painting! in which the scope of creativity is boundless and the ultimate goal is to paint the poetry of thoughts on canvas with help of shapes, forms, colors, different technique of brush strokes light and shadow to burst with creative ideas and fill the surface with imagination.
My goal as a teacher is to help each student be creative in their own way and express themselves, which not only makes them an artist but helps them in every walk of life! to be unique and have the power to think outside the box, have a hobby! its a sort of meditation!! or just have an eye to enjoy nature, possibilities are endless, whatever may be the aim of student, art can help you get there!!
